My introduction toTai Chi was in Walton Hospital Liverpool in 1996. My consultant suggested that I look at ways to keep as active as I could within the constraints of my progressive and painful health condition.
For me that was Tai Chi and through my own experience I can honestly say that practicing Tai Chi has made a huge difference to my quality of life.
I was extremely fortunate that I had the opportunity to train with Master Ma Yue from China. Who then encouraged me to further my Tai Chi Education in order to go on to teach.
I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful skill and guidance that he so patiently shared with me.
I am a registered NAKMAS ( National Association of Karate and Martial Arts Schools)
Tai Chi/Chi Gung Instructer.
I find it extremely rewarding to help people to develop their skills and confidence and to help them to achieve a better quality of life.
